Zaira Wasim INTERVIEW: “I Never Wanted To Become An Actress; I’d Thank Or Blame Destiny”
Zaira Wasim’s decision of quitting Bollywood has sparked a huge discussion online and garnered mixed reactions from the commoners and celebrities. The actress cited her religion as the sole reason behind this decision. In no time, netizens started expressing their opinions on social media. Producer of her soon-to-release movie, The Sky Is Pink and even director of Dangal, Nitesh Tiwari lent their reactions on the same.

So, we thought this is the time to bring you her exclusive interview. At Aamir Khan’s office, we had met her couple of days after she marked a sensational debut in Dangal, followed by the lead role in Secret Superstar. SEE INTERVIEW BELOW:

This morning, contrasting reports emerged in media when Zaira’s manager Tuhin Mishra was quoted by a leading website that her social media account got hacked and it wasn’t her doing. Later, the same manager quoted to Republic TV that he was misquoted and he never really claimed that her account got hacked. Amidst all the chaos, the actress took it upon herself to clarify her stance.

Taking to Twitter, she wrote, “This to clarify that none of my social media accounts were or are hacked and are being handled by me personally. Kindly refrain from believing or sharing claims that state otherwise! Thanks.”

I had reviewed Secret Superstar and found Zaira extremely talented. I quote myself, “The show belongs to the expressive Zaira Wasim who was so winsome in last year’s Dangal. A natural-born artiste, she conveys the pleasures and pains of growing up with psychological acuity.” Zaira’s decision to quit movies is a big loss to Bollywood.
